LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Several changes have been announced for University of Kentucky football game days, to address safety, security and parking issues in and around Commonwealth Stadium.
The changes include:
No tow-behind trailers without a permit.
Golfs carts, motorized scooters and motorized coolers will not be permitted anywhere around the stadium.
Tailgating and dropping off recreational vehicles on Cooper Drive cannot begin earlier than noon on Friday.
No backpacks or large bags are permitted in Commonwealth Stadium. Only diaper bags, which will be searched.
Hospital Drive will be closed except for emergency vehicles, so you can't use that to reach parking structure number one.
The changes were announced by UK Police Chief Joe Monroe.
